I served in the Oklahoma National Guard and Army Reserves for 10 years. I was commissioned in 1981 as 2nd Lt in Oklahoma National Guard with 45 Infantry Brigade as a Armor Cavalry officer. I served as a platoon leader in E Troop 145 Cav for 4 years. I then moved to 90th Infantry Division (TRG) USAR as a Training Officer where I served for 2 years then become a company commander of a training company that provided basic training for new recruits and served for 2 years. I then moved to Illinois where I worked for the US Army as a civilian as a Quality Assurance Specialist (Ammunition Surveillance) (QASAS). I transferred to the 85th Armor Division (TNG) USAR and served as assistance operations officer, HQ company commander and battalion S1 within a two year period. Our mission was to provide basic and advance training for Armor crewmen. I returned to Oklahoma in 1990 and transferred to the ready reserve until I got my discharged in 1991. Upon my return to Oklahoma I continued working at McAlester Army Ammunition Plant during the Gulf War as QASAS.
Background: I have always had an interest in the military and the history of military where I would read and study military operations and tactics. About a year and half ago I became interested in Airsoft primary do to the fact it involved small unit tactics and is close simulation for military operations. I have 2 sons ages 13 PRIVATE and 15 KATMAN that are very interested in the sport and this has become our family activity where we all have a passion and an interesting in the sport. As far as Airsoft leadership experience here is a list of what I have done this past year.
